Pollen parent: MM 14-200a (M. villosa f X (((atropunctata x neopavonia) x villosa c) x (atropunctata x neopavonia))
The genes are complicated here, but basically we're talking about a cross between a yellow flower and a purple one. And as has happened with some other crosses, the colors kind of cancel out and we get dirty white flowers.
