Seed parent: Moraea tricuspidata (?)
Pollen parent: MM 10-16d
The seed parent was a plant that came to me labeled "Moraea longiaristata," but the flowers look a lot like M. tricuspidata. I suspect a seedling of tricuspidata slipped into the corms I received. The pollen parent is a reddish flower.
This hybrid looks very much like I'd expect from a cross with M. tricuspidata, because the eye has been reduced to a narrow line. (M. tricuspidata is closely related to M. bellendenii, which does that to the eye in hybrids,)
