A nice surprise. Although 03-04a is not a very showy hybrid, in this cross it turned the eye from green to blue and gave a nice flat shape to the flower. I'm also interested in the central cup – instead of the black spots of M. tulbaghensis, the cup is stippled and streaked with bits of darker color.
