Moraea MM 13-71

Seed parent: MM 99-00a (M. atropunctata ? X neopavonia)

Pollen parent: Moraea loubseri

As often happens, crossing a half-orange plant with a purple one yields mauve.

MM 13-71a. Not astoundingly beautiful, but interesting. M. loubseri has a sea green background color behind its hairy central cup. In this hybrid, the background has turned yellow.

At first glance you might think this and the next photo are of the same plant. But look more closely...

MM 13-71b. Look at the central style crest. It's spotted in this form but smooth in form A.
