Gladiolus MM 21-490

Seed parent: MM 17-95c (G. violaceo-lineatus x priorii) X (violaceo-lineatus x priorii)
Pollen parent: MM 17-28b (violaceo-lineatus x priorii) X ((gracilis x priorii) x violaceo-lineatus)

MM 21-490. I think this one is quite attractive.

Gladiolus MM 21-479

Seed parent: MM 17-95c (G. violaceo-lineatus x priorii) X (violaceo-lineatus x priorii)
Pollen parent: MM 17-48f (G. violaceo-lineatus x (priorii x gracilis)) X unknown

MM 21-479a. Attractive. Two of the tepals are heavily marked, while the others are very pale blue.

This is probably the same plant a year later, but the markings are a bit different. It's hard to know which variations are random vs. a different clone.

Gladiolus MM 21-455

Seed parent: MM 17-94d ((G. priorii x gracilis) x carinatus) X unknown
Pollen parent: Gladiolus odoratus

MM 21-455a

MM 21-455b

Gladiolus MM 21-357

Seed parent: MM 15-36e (G. gracilis x priorii) X (gracilis x priorii)
Pollen parent: MM 15-83f (gracilis x priorii) X patersoniae

I crossed two hybrids that are flushed with red on the lower tepals, hoping to reinforce that characteristic.

MM 21-357a. This is exactly what I wanted.

Gladiolus MM 21-292

Seed parent: Gladiolus debilis
Pollen parent: Gladiolus aureus

I was hoping for a yellow flower with heavy spots from G. debilis. I didn't get that, but the flowers are a lovely pastel peach color.

Gladiolus MM 21-152

Seed parent: MM 17-62a ((G. tristis x (gracilis x priorii)) x carinatus) X ((gracilis x priorii) x violaceo-lineatus)
Pollen parent: MM 15-38c (violaceo-lineatus x (gracilis x priorii)) X ((gracilis x priorii) x violaceo-lineatus)

The seed parent has a high bud count and nice markings, and the pollen parent has lotsa' dots. Their offspring are nice but not all that unusual.

MM 21-152a

This plant has an unusual branched stem, giving it more flowers in total than the usual Glad hybrid.

MM 21-152b. This one is wider than form a. I like it.

Gladiolus MM 21-26

Seed parent: MM 17-48a (G. violaceo-lineatus x (priorii x gracilis)) X unknown
Pollen parent: MM 15-38c (G. violaceo-lineatus x (gracilis x priorii)) X ((gracilis x priorii) x violaceo-lineatus)

MM 21-26a. Nice patterns. Check out the pollen parent, which also has nice patterns, but in dark purple, and with narrower tepals. I am happy about the wider tepals, and the mix of purple and magenta is nice.
