Gladiolus MM 21-500

Seed parent: Gladiolus gracilis

Pollen parent: MM 14-105d (G. watsonius x patersoniae)

By crossing a red flower onto a blue species, I think I was hoping to get a magenta version of the bright red pollen parent.

MM 21-500a. These are very pretty pink flowers on a vigorous plant.

MM 21-500b. Interesting, this one is more bluish.

MM 21-500c. A first I thought these were two different plants, but I think actually the flowers get wider after they have been open for a while.
