Interesting! The parents are both heavily veined flowers, so I was expecting flowers with a lot of veins in them. One of them is as expected, the other is very elegant looking. They are both delightful.

(I marked these photos MM 20-287, but that is a Moraea cross and these are clearly Glads. I think it's actually 20-281.)

This is growing in the spot labeled "MM 20-286," but that's a Moraea cross. Maybe this Gladiolus seed was washed in from a nearby plant. It's a pretty little thing.

This is a cross between a heavily spotted magenta flower and a scarlet one. I like the pink shade of this flower and its dark markings. Too bad the flower is kind of narrow.

This is a very nice flower: brilliant deep red with subtle yellow and black markings. G. bonspei is producing some very nice hybrids.
