Pollen parent: MM 13-197b (M. lurida X villosa h)
I thought this was a very promising cross. M. lurida, bellendenii, and tripetala all do strange and surprising things to the look of M. villosa. So if I cross all four species together, who knows what wonderful flowers I'll get?
And the answer is...blah. Not just a little bit blah, a lot blah.
Oh well.
