I was hoping for a bright yellow flower with the bright blue eye of Moraea aristata, but instead I got several pale yellow flowers with dark eyes.

Some more recent flowers are more promising:
I like this one best. The tepals are fairly yellow, and there's an interesting blue-green eye.
